I'm glad for all the rain, I think we needed it. Over here the courses have been dried out and nasty with spotty grass coverage so hopefully the rain has plumped em up a bit.

beautiful her in florida, just caught a cold snap and it was mid 50's at night and mid 70's during the day, with low humidity. Unfortunately when I get off of work on Wednesday morning heat is coming back, but weather is still great for a round in the am. Will get out on Thursday morning and Saturday morning for my regular group. Couldnt ask for much more, except for my new set of irons, planning on ordering in the next two weeks and should have them by mid May.

it's hot for anywhere. If you buy into the old Arizona proverb "It's a dry heat" All I can say is B.S.Actually golf is playable at those temps if you hydrate with water not beer and seek out the shade between shots. When it gets to August and 115 degrees you can really have a problem. I still will take this over 20 below with 2 feet of snow on the ground.

I love dry heat. Hell, I love dry any type of weather.
A few years back, I was at Yellowstone when the temp was 104. As we walked into an area that was full of mud-flat geysers that emitted steam, I could feel the temperature drop 20 degrees....and it was horrible.
Last summer, a few co-workers from Phoenix came to Fargo to visit when our heat indices were in the 120's to 130's. Their comment..."we're never coming to Fargo during the summer again".
I'll take a typical Phoenix summer every day of the week over the typical Fargo summer.

Spending much of my adult life in Wisconsin,Illinois and Indiana I remember the dog days of summer with 90 temp and 90 humidity. I would change shirts 3 times in a round and gloves 3 or 4 times. I,ll take what we have in Phoenix any day.

I get a kick out of looking at weather from various desert cities around the country. Last year, I actually saw one for Death Valley, CA where the temp was 116 with a heat index of 95.
I went to Phoenix once in March of 2001. It was 80 degrees and sunny when I arrived. I hate to say it, but 80 degrees in Phoenix is downright cold.

We are in that annoying, tweener-weather phase. You know, where it seems impossible to dress just right. Wear short sleeves and the wind makes you shiver. Put on some sleeves and start to sweat from the sun. It's windy all the time lately. On top of that plants and trees are all sexed up, spooging their pollen everywhere. I can't believe I'm saying this but I actually miss winter.

I believe that I am the solution to the drought problem. Live in an area with a drought?, Have me move in and order me a new set of clubs. My new clubs came in last week, Its been rain everyday since except two and one of those I had to work. The clubs look great sitting in the bag.
