The new iPhone app lets me enter multiple scores in a round and then uploads them all under my name to the Oobgolf site - so far no problem. However when i try and assign the scores to the other Oobgolf members I have scored for I get an occasional problem when it won't let me edit the score to another name - even though I have the rights to do so. Anybody else having this problem?

not sure if the iphone app is capable of doing that. usually it will just say player#. only the site could do that i believe. i might be wrong.

Sorry, I'm being unclear. I am having a problem when I try and reassign the scores on the website. Sometimes it will not let me save them after I have edited the name to another oobgolf profile name. This happens even when I have rights and with names that have previously worked.

stato-

Feel free to Private Message me with specifics- or leave them here. That's the first I've heard of not being able to enter a score for another user (which is essentially what you're doing). Please let me know what score you're trying to move and to what user.

Thanks,

Andrew

Andrew

I played in the last round with two members and I was able to edit and save one member but the other scored 86 on the 16th July and when I try to move it to his profile PhilH then I can edit the name but it will not save so it stays as one of my scores rather than transferring.

As I say, the other edit worked this time. This is the second time I have had this problem, the previous time was with another profile and in the end i just deleted and reentered his score from scratch

I was able to duplicate this issue...

why it would work with some and not others is weird. we'll look into it. not sure how quickly i'll have a fix- but we're on it!

Thanks,

andrew

This should now be fixed. The reason this was happening is because you and PhilH were using different handicapping systems (CONGU vs USGA).

We made it so this can still happened and tested it with moving that score- so he should be set and good to go from now on.

Thanks!
