Does anyone have this club? If so, help me out with something: Do you get much roll on your tee shots?

I just bought this driver (new on clearance) and played my first round with it today. The fairways were inexplicably wet and soft in most places, and I'm hoping that explains the lack of roll. However, I remember reading that the driver does create a backspin on the ball, and I'm now mildly worried. On multiple instances I hit the ball well and got a carry of upwards to 220 yards, but the ball rolled very little after impact with the ground. There were a couple that only rolled a foot or two! I'm hoping this had more to do with the ground being soft. I'm switching from a Nike Sumo2 5900, which I didn't hit as far as this Machspeed, but it definitely rolled further ... and in the end, my average drive probably ends up being the same.

No one? Well, I'll be at the driving range tonight. Hopefully the grass is cut short enough for me to figure this out on my own.

I'm sure on the right holes it will roll.
Do you hit your drives low, mid or high trajectory?

I used to hit my ball too high.
Main reason, shaft wasn't stiff enough. I fixed this with adjustments to ball in my stance and then got a stiff shaft too.

If you hit them a little lower, they will roll more.
Some courses just dont roll out though.

Some days I hit 260s some days are 220s.
It looks like a nice driver, I'm sure you can get it to roll.

That's the funny thing. I hit a fairly low trajectory, and historically the lack of carry has been balanced out by a pretty good roll. I actually had read that this driver did tend to help add backspin, which would give lower trajectory golfers a bit more height. It gave me more distance in the air for sure (I don't think I've ever carried more than 210 before) but the lack of roll was concerning me.

Hopefully it was just the course. The driving range tonight might tell me more. I'm playing in the mountains this weekend, and don't expect to see too many flat fairways, so I'm not sure that will tell me much.

I actually ended up playing eight holes this evening (didn't have time to finish nine). The first few holes were a disaster, but once I settled down, I hit the driver pretty well and WAS getting a reasonable amount of roll. I checked the distance on two of the drives. One was about 200 yards but I think I hit the top of the driver face on that one. It didn't get up in the air much. The other was 240 yards, and i got at least 10 yards of roll on that one. I'll take that and be happy about it, particularly on a bermuda grass course like this one I played today.

So, clearly I was just worrying too much. I'd just never seen drives stick like I did last weekend.

I have a machspeed 9.5 with an xs shaft I get low flight and low spin with about 20-30yds roll. I also play in 95-110* weather. Now when the course is wet I'm lucky to get a few feet, because the soak the hell out of it
