I recently came across this website, signed up, and was immediately impressed and began my "propaganda" campaign about oobgolf to those I play with and those I know play golf. Smile
Anyway, I work at Porters Neck in Wilmington, NC, as well as play golf (tho not very well, time to invest in some lessons for this 24 hcp is hanging on my neck too much), so I have the point of view of not only being a "mower jockey" but also that of "how in the heck is this 3some holding up my 4some of hackers". Wink
My hats off to the creators and admins of this site, and I look forward to things to come.

Hit 'em well, and if you can't hit 'em well, at least enjoy your time on the course with friends.

Tim

BTW, aiming at the guy on the fairway mower parked off to the side under some trees while you play, that's just not right. Wink

I remember someone making the comment about aiming for the mower driver, and I am absolutely SURE he was kidding. That guy was also defending the golf course for mowing while play was in progress, rather than closing the course to do so. It's like one commenter said about one golfer saying to the other golfer "look at those two fools down by the river ,fishing in the rain" I'd rather have a little maintenance going on during my round, than have no round.

heh Yeah, most people are very understanding about maintenance being done while golf is being played. And to be honest, that guy on the fairway mower parked under a tree is probably in more danger than if he stood right next to the pin. LoL
