I live in Fargo...in the US. Most of the people here are either American, Canadian, or British, so it's good to have someone representing southeast Asia.
Your scores, from what I can tell, tend to be right about where your handicap should be. The Lembah-Danau Course, for instance, looks like it has a bogey rating of 96.5. That means an 18 handicap should shoot a 96 or 97, and you seem to be well below that. So I'd say that you are shooting your handicap.

The word "representing southeast Asia" might be too strong an statement for me I do have couple of Asia golf friends using this oobgolf too but I guess they were not really active in the forum.
Interesting, I would like to learn. How do you know that Lembah-Danau course has a bogey rating of 96.5 ? Is there an formula use to calculate ?

The formula in America is to divide the slope by 5.391 and then add it to the course rating. For Lembah-Danau, you would divide the slope of 134 by 5.391 and get 24.9. If you add 24.9 to the course rating, which is 71.6, you get 96.5.
From what I've seen on their website, which shows a couple of pictures, it looks like a very formidable and a very nice course.

Thanks Bryan, I now understand how to calculate.
Yes, Ciputra golf course is okay but the best course around my area would be Taman Dayu golf course. They claim to be the top 50 of Asia.
Website : http://www.tamandayu.com/home
Their slope rating is 141 from blue .. I am not good enough to play from blue.
I have never play in US or Europe before, so do not know what is consider to be a good courses. Have you ever play in Far East ?

I've actually heard of Taman Dayu. After looking at the website, I think it appears to be nicer than any course I've ever played.
According to the website, they have a yellow tee behind the blue as well? All I can say to that is "yikes". The bogey rating from the blue rounds up to 100. I can't imagine what playing the yellows would be like.

I"ve never played anywhere but the US, unfortunately. And most of the nicest courses I've played have been during the offseason when I travel south to places like Texas or Florida to get in some golf during the winter. Therefore, I don't get to experience them when they are in tip-top shape. With that in mind, I think the nicest course I've ever played is called the Pine-to-Palm Course at the Detroit Country Club in Detroit Lakes, MN. http://www.detroitcountryclub.com/dcc/pinetopalmcourse.htm
