Welcome to our little group.

What ever happened to "banker's hours"?? With all the bankers working so hard that leaves more open tee times for us insurance guys. Wink

banker hours...i was thinking about getting a monthly at our local course here. $280 for all you can eat green fees, cart, and range balls (which is the kicker)...but then i realized that banker hours suck. they aren't really conducive to improving my game. i'd have to play almost every day off just to get my money's worth. (it's not that i'm opposed to playing every day, it's just that i would be committed..) so, i'm still pondering it.

anyways, california is the place to be. i've lived here my whole life. went to college in the bay. came back because i love the smell of manure in the morning.

what part of the world has 22 hours of sunlight per day? and is there a bank there i can transfer to?

all you can eat for $280 a month? At some point, you have to consider the golf to be a secondary benefit....

I spent a few weeks in CA a while back. I was up near Mt Shasta for a couple weeks, in Fresno for a while, and around Sacramento for a few weeks, training people on our mainframe system.

Never really got to the "tourist" spots.

I really like northern Cali. Climate seemed similar to the calm days we have here in New England.

Go up north, Canada, Alaska, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Russia, Iceland, Greenland.

There's a 9-holes golfcourse in Ulukhaktok, Northwest Territories, Canada which is located at 70 degrees North, that should provide long days and pretty short nights around june 21 Very Happy.

Another one: Nuuk, Greenland. 64 degrees North.

In Iceland are a couple of courses and there are banks in Icelend if I recall correctly. There was something fishy with them though Razz
