A couple years ago, he was given a special exemption into the US Open, even though his game had fallen off and his world rank had tumbled along with it. Now, he confesses to using a banned substance, and gets off scott free.

Maybe if he started playing slower, the golf world would start thinking that a single round of golf should take 12 hours, and 14 year old kids wouldn't get a penalty at the Masters.

Admission of guilt does not constitute deserving a penalty.

So Woods was wrongfully penalized 2 strokes at the masters. Tell Adam Scott to give back the green jacket and lets replay the tournament.

As much as I hate frivolous litigation, I think that the PGA Tour did bungle the handling of it's own anti-doping policies, even if merely through ignorance, causing Singh to suffer real damages. I have no problem with him receiving a settlement and it'll be a lesson to the Tour to get its ducks in a row before they consider punitive actions on another player and announce it to the media.

Hehe sue em all. PGAT did make him look pretty bad. They would've been better off if they had punished him. I would tend to believe the suit's claim that the PGAT is not fit to administer a WADA policy. It is golf after all. For them to stick to a WADA policy, which I'm guessing is pretty Byzantine, amounts to empty posturing IMO. Ohhh look at us, we are so rigorous, we will abide by the WADA.

They ought to devise their own policy to fit the game. You know what I take that back, who cares, in a decade or so we're all going to be on deer antlers, HGH, cortisone, whatever. Hell athletes in all sports take cortisone shots like its no thing and isn't cortisone a kind of steroid? Where is this line drawn and who draws it?

Jason, What?, Something tells if you commit an offence and stand before a judge and say you are guilty, that the court is not going to send you home with a gift certificate and lovely parting gifts.

As far as Woods goes you're right, after even more review by the USGA, he should have been DQ'ed.

As far as Singh is concerned, as I have said before, I am rapidly losing any respect I may have had for him.
