I don't know who did the write up on Singha park Khon Kaen, but he or she couldn't be more wrong. It is only 8 miles or so from downtown Khon Kaen, and there are no mountains. It is a great course albeit it only a little over a year old. It does have a driving range, and even on the weekends, with caddy and cart, the fee is less than $100 US(2900THB). Also, there is another good course in Khon Kaen, DANCOON GOLF CLUB. A few miles west of the city out near the airport. Fair but challenging and quite reasonable...about $35US.
