Not a question so much, as I know it was called correctly, but it was a sore moment...
3-man scramble play, we are lining up a 4 footer for birdie. First guy in our team putts, it lips out by inches, he walks over and kind of normally taps it in. "You're done, Par" says the other team as they walk off the green. Before we others get a chance to try the putt for the birdie. "PGA rules" they said.
Yes, technically we holed out for par, but seemed a little harsh to throw that out on us at a fun scramble and the guy who tapped in is a younger player who didn't know better (actually, the cart guy at the course).
From there out, we methodically marked every putt.
However, the cart guy got one back on the next tee box, when he called out the player on the other team for teeing up in front of the tee markers, heh heh.
