Hey Beef,I was looking at your scores and noticed that you never seem to play the courses close to
Dyker Beach. Is there a reason for this?I would think you might want a little variety. |
Variety of course. But I'm trapped! in a sense. It's a big time and energy expense getting to any course over here especially w/o owning a car, which I don't. It's the only course inside a hour travel time and simplest route too. Every other course involves not just long but ugly trip that includes train, bus, taxi, etc. and--lets face it--takes you through some ghetto places. Only worth it once in a while just for differents sake. There's only one other full course nearby anyways Marine Park. It's a good course, tough, long course. I might get back there soon.

| As an old Ft Hamilton street kid I'll make you a counter offer. I doubt I will ever return to the old hood again but if you find your way in the Phoenix area I have an empty seat on my golf cart and four full size courses to choose from. My only suggestion. Wait until the fall when the heat is more bearable |
What a great offer. My grandparents live in Az but way down, in Cochise county. Still, you never know. you never know. But yeah, no need to come back to the old neighborhood, I can tell you's all about it--it stinks! Check it out in Google street-view if you want to revisit some old places. Stay home, enjoy your four golf courses. i am jealous.
