Hi everyone.

I'm Phil from Amarillo TX.. CFO and Network Admin for Children's Learning Centers. (no I don't work with the kids not my gift. I'm in the Corporate Office). Children's Learning Centers has 9 day cares scattered around the city and my time is spent in keeping the accounting and auditors happy as well as keeping all the locations online with the server and and up and running. Anyone that works with computers can relate to how hard that can be at times. Some days are easy, and some day are filled with Spyware and malware.

I've been a member of Oobgolf for a good while and really enjoy it. I just haven't taken the opportunity to say Hi and introduce myself. So, to correct that error let me say that I have been back in golf for about two and half years now. I'm not a very good player by what I've read on here. Still working in the 100s or 90s most of my games. I am working to improve, hitting a lot of balls at the range, but it is slow since I play alone much of the time, and the one regular partner I played with has recently had hip surgery. With that my progress is slow and I haven't played many rounds this season so far. I really want to do more, and once work slows with all the audits I plan to make that happen. I don't think 2012 is going to be a breakout year for me, but if my swing and game continues to improve then I'll be happy. My one big investment this season, if you can call it big, was a new putter. I did the ping swing testing and found a putter that really seems to fit my putting style and I am doing a lot more 2 putts and that I like a lot.

Well, that's about it for now. I look forward to reading and getting to know you all more over the coming months and years.

Thanks for letting be a part of the gang.

Good to hear from a fellow Oober. Try to find a course that will pair up singles with 2-somes and 3-somes and head out solo. I have met many interesting people over the years by just showing up.
