We just moved into a new house two weeks ago, and with packing and moving, I haven't had ANY time for golf. I was okay until last weekend, when the dust started settling (literally) and I could think once again about my favorite sport. Since then, I've been jonesing it a BIG way. Finally, my drought is ending. I get to play tomorrow. I don't know that I'll have much time to hit the range beforehand (can't really start playing until about 3pm or 3:15pm) so I'm at least chipping some balls around the back yard to try to get back into whatever form I had previously. I hope I'm not too rusty.

Don't you hate it when real life gets in the way of golf?

I'm in a similar boat, though I moved into my house 2 years ago. Everything has been working against me this season. I've got a scheduled round the 1st Sunday in June, though I'm hoping to have a chance to get out before then... it's not looking too promising though. There is lawn to mow, brush to dispose of, a closet to build, a swingset to re-assemble (and wood to be replaced on the swingset, as well as leveling an area to assemble said swingset)...

Sometimes, I miss living in an apartment.

I hear you. I have a similar list, including fixing the yard (clover everywhere), adding shelves for the garage, fixing the downstairs toilet that runs when it shouldn't, etc. etc. I figure that this stuff can wait. I'm going to be in this house a long time, so there's no rush Smile

I left my job last July and just started working again this past Tuesday! It was great to have almost a year off and play golf on any day that ends in Y!!! I will be relegated to hitting balls during lunch times and after work and playing on weekends now!!! SUCKS!!!

I used 4 2 D on my clover about a week ago and it is almost dead. Pretty good stuff if you spray and only about $30 a gallon.
