So here's the question,
when you play in any golf tournament be it a scramble or for a qualifier or just a fun tourney, what are some of the things that like about it. what would you like to see more of or less maybe.

I'll say if its a fun tourney, its a must to see maybe a couple of cart girls to take care of groups thirst needs and I like if there's food afterwards with some fun for all, be it some prizes or raffles and jokes. the prizes I like to see are for not only the winners and long drives,and closest to the pins. but I like fun ones too, like most OB's most birdies, skins, ect. it should be fun most of all and have time when its over to meet everyone and have some good times.

I want food, discount drinks, skills challenges (putting, closest to pin, hole in one, etc.) Gross and net winners, discount drinks, sexy cart girls, sexy starters, discount drinks, sexy greeters. Did I mention discount drinks?

My brother and I are playing in what I consider a fun tournament the weekend of the 24th. Practice round the 24th, 18 holes the 25th after which flights will be devised, and then 18 holes the 26th.
The format is pretty fun. 2man teams, you play 6 holes alternate shot, 6 holes best ball, and 6 holes of captains choice. You also get, per person, 1 mulligan, 1 throw, and 1 red tee shot. Add to that free meal each day as well as free beer, and it's a fun tourney.

one of my favorite tourney is in south lake tahoe and they have these girls at every 6th hole with everything. and its all free... I like to win so I don't drink till its over, but some guys drink it up...lol

Best tournament I play in every year is sponsored by Enterprise Rent A Car. Almost every hole has something cool. Drinks, jello shooters, you name it. One hole always has some massage chairs set up so while you're waiting, ya get a free rubdown. One body shop sponsored a hole last year and they had some young ladies from a local strip joint manning the booth .

Some other cool things that makes it fun:

1. You can buy up to 5 muligans per player
2. You can buy this piece of twine that's something like 4' long. You can use it up bit by bit as a putt gimmie or use it all at once. So if you're two feet out on putt, you can use 2' of the twine as a gimmie leaving you 2' left, etc.
