I'm just aching for some more golf.
I can't get to the course or range much, busy week, but I'm just dying to.
So trying to cope...

I have read every post and story on oob golf

I went back and started watching the Big Breaks I haven't seen, even watching the 1st one, and you guys were right, its pretty average Smile

Watched every minute I could of the US Open on Thurs - Sun and got 1 round in as well.

Did some golf ball analysis to see what the RIGHT ball for me is.

Checked my equipment stats etc, looked at my last few rounds.

Looked at SCGA member outings for the year, to see if i should play a couple of those soon

Looked at the PGA tour schedule, to see when a tournament is coming near me again.

I'm losing my mind, I tink I'm going to watch 7 days in utopia next.

Any other ideas guys?
What do you do when you're chomping at the bit.

If you have an hour to kill, but not time for a full round, use it to hit the range or the practice green. I work late tonight, but there will still be some time for some chipping practice before it gets dark.

I'm being driven crazy because my game feels like it's right on the brink right now. I'm doing everything as good as or better than I've ever done it before. But I'm travelling a lot lately, so I can't get in any rounds. Leaving for Phoenix again next week where I just won't have time to golf. It's driving me nuts.

Change your grips. Clean your clubs and "brillo pad" the grips if they are not ready for changing. Replace your soft spikes. Polish or clean your golf shoes. Clean out your bag, sort through your golf balls. Do a little on line shopping (not buying). Set-up a mini golf range in your home (or outside).

Do some push-ups or take a cold shower ... wait ... that is for something else. Never mind. Wink

Make hundreds of practice swings with a weighted club every night.

If I can't go to the range (which is most days) I grab a handful of my plastic practice balls and hit them in the back yard. It's not the same as being at the range, but at least you're swinging the club and getting some feedback on your swing.

I'm going completely nuts right now myself. We leave at the crack of dawn on Friday for our annual golf trip. Two rounds on Friday and one each on Saturday and Sunday. Since I haven't had time to go to the range, I've hit the plastic balls in the back yard and I've been parsing our my golf "packing" each day to feel like I'm doing something. For instance, yesterday I arranged which balls I'm using and stacked them up along with a putting practice mat I may take along. Today I made sure I had some energy bars and that I had enough tees. I'm not sure about tomorrow, but Thursday I'll clean every club I'm taking.

I got 18 in tuesday night, and 18 in this morning, and I'm still golf mad, and trying to figure out how to sneak a baby into the golf cart for some golf this weekend (lol joking)

Its funny, the more you itch the more you and play and then the more you itch still.

I have decided on the rangefinder I want now, so I'm going to get that soon, waiting for my golf shoes to come in... hell, i'm investigating blades now too...
this is getting out of hand.
