I am a 10 and would like to think I could keep it under 115.

Heh Heh. Haven't thought about it. Maybe about like GuzzlinGil. ~115 at BEST.

What was the challenge for the celebrities to try and break a 100? who did it, Walburg, Timberlake, Romo...?

I would like to think I could break 80 but it would take a GREAT ball striking round and rolling the rock!!!

I'd have to be lucky to break 130.

I'd probably shoot par on each 9, ending with a 140.

If I could play all four days, I'm pretty sure I could break 100 once. But my average would probably be over 120 because my worst score would probably be up around 145.

Bryan K: you have to make the cut to play all four days... heh heh J/K Razz

I finally got the chance to watch this us open some last night. I would like to revise my guess. If it's THIS us open we are talking about, Olympic course, these conditions, etc. Not likely to break 120. Just looks so tricky.

i play to an 7.4 index, and 8 course hdc, at my local course. I would like to think that I could shoot just under 100 during tourney setup, but those greens are slick and rough is thick. With noone around just me and the course would like to think it would be sub-100, with spectators hopefully under 110. that is my take on the situation.

As a self-declared 8 index, USA Today golf writer Steve DiMeglio played the Lake Course yesterday in virtually the same conditions as the pros and shot an 82.

Maybe 105-110
Par for me should be 90- Add 15 over= 105
My problem would be hitting the tee shots far enough to get it on the short grass. From there I could play bumpity bump to the green, I love fast greens. Faster the better. If you can't be optimistic whats the point.

I love this. Bumpity bump to the green. I'm gonna use it.

First time I ever parred the hardest hole at my home course, it was a bumpity bump senario followed by a long one-putt. I couldn't believe it. Nothing wrong with bumpity bump if you can keep it in the fairway.

I feel as if I was playing well, and again that is "playing well", I could have broke 80.
