I either use no headcover or the original manufacturer headcover on the driver, woods and hybrids I have owned (until I loose them). Sometimes those funky joke driver headcovers seem to fit a golfer, but I haven't seen one that perks my interest personally.
If there were a way that I could design one for my self, I think a cool one would be a Pint of Guinness. all black with the foam top. They should get with G-Mac to make one.
What would your custom self-designed driver head cover be?

Here are some guinness ones I found on ebay
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=guinness+golf+headcover
I have thought about Animals that match the kids.
I am the gorilla, we have a moon-doggie, turtle, ladybug and elephant... so i might get a cover for those, but they're too bulky usually.

I have a red/yellow dragon head cover. It doesn't fit my driver (too small), so I keep it on my 4h for now. It would be perfect for a fairway club, which I hope to get someday.
I never really had any interest in novelty head covers. The only reason I have this one is that last year, I got a gift card to the local golf shop/driving range for father's day. I had a day off that week, which I spent with my 1 year old daughter. We went to the shop and she picked out the headcover.

Having just gotten all new woods I am still using the headcovers that came with them. I had used for about ten years a US Coast Guard Headcover on my driver, having been in the Coast Guard for 20 yrs, I figured that if they're sending me a check every month the least I could do was a little free advertising for them. My other woods had Knit covers in favorite colors. Don't know if I'll change them out or stick with what came with them or something different. The Coastie cover will probably find its way back on the driver someday.

And it gets stuck in the legs of your stand bag from time to time.

I get the feeling that if I went on the same trip with my daughter again, I'd end up with a penguin head cover, or she'd have a new toy penguin that is supposed to be a head cover. We went to the New England Aquarium a couple months ago, and we had to pry her away from the penguin viewing area- repeatedly.

I'd hate to be a penguin, when you get in an argument, and want to stomp angrily away, with those short legs all you can do is look cute as you waddle away.

You mean that people actually think that penguins are cute?
I think they are among the ugliest and stupidest looking creatures on this planet.
