I have recently located a user I know personally.I clicked on add to friends and a popup appeared saying my request was forwarded.He is not on my list and if I go to his user name there is no option to add to friends now.Does he have to agree to be my friend or something?

Yes, he has to accept your invitation.

I wanted to know what is the advantage of having friends on here who you do not know or live near you..??? other than knowing if there on line, or being able to PM them from your home page...

It's nice to make friends for those of us who travel. We can hook up with friends whom we have met through Oob. We are also connected with a few VIRTUAL TOURNEYS.

good point, but its hard enough to get 3 buddies to play on a sunday much less get someone from far away to join in... maybe I need some new buddies....lol
