Your score doesn't determine if you're a Hack or not, it comes down to how you conduct yourself when you're on the course.

a Hack is someone that doesn't wear the proper attire to the golf course

Shows up late for a tee time

Whispers while you're putting

Talks on his cell phone constantly

Looks for a lost ball waaayyy to long

Throws clubs

Cheats

Isn't ready to hit when it's his turn

Starts his cart in the middle of your swing

Has to finish the story before he hits

wants to know what club you hit

walks in your putting line

leaves his cart or bag in all the wrong places

tells you what he did wrong after a bad shot

wants you to play bad

complains about the course

doesn't say nice shot

That's not a hack. That's a jerk. Those are the guys you will run into when the money is on the line. Some do it JUST to get you off your game. My definition of a HACK is someone who doesn't take the game seriously, whether it's playing poorly or just not caring about anything but HAVING A GOOD TIME and drinking some beers.

Takes the handicap Equitable Stroke Adjustment max for their score on blow up holes instead of what they actually shot.
