Passing through with a one night layover looking for a recommendation for a couple of public 18 hole courses. Hotel nearby helps. Thanks

I Don't know if this helps you out, But here are 3 that are located near Scranton: Scranton Muni (570)689-2686 Summit Hills Golf Club (570)586-4427 Pine Hills Golf Course (570)562-0138 All are 18 Hole golf courses. I hope this helps your out

Stone Hedge Golf Course is proably the best around, It's Located about 30 Minutes from Scranton. The link to there website is listed below: http://www.stonehedge-golf.com/ It's semi-Private course, I haven't had a chance to play it, But I've never heard anyone say anything bad about it. The course Rating is 71.9 Slope Rating is 124

You didn't say when you were passing through. I learned today that I will be going to Philadelphia for the weekend of Friday Aug 21. If anyone would like to play there this weekend, let me know.
