Not sure what would be the best way to do it, but it would be a great stat to have.

Thoughts?

This is something we plan on adding soon. One issue is that I have seen people define this differently. How do you define it?

To get the ball into the hole in two strokes when starting from off the green or in a greenside hazard.

So, say your second shot on a par-4 is just short of the green. If you make par, you've made an up-and-down.

First stroke was up onto the green; the second stroke was down into the cup.

I think a better definition of an up & down, is when you make a par when you were not on the green in regulation. You can't have an up & down if you make bogey or worse.

true, but do people count a putt off the fringe as a putt? cause that's technically not a green in regulation but i saw another guy count that as a putt on his iphone before. i basically agree with your definition shrute.

Good Point. But I'd base it on whether you can mark & clean your ball. You can't do that if the ball is on the fringe, and so by that definition I guess it's not a putt.
