I have yet to find an interactive map as to what golf courses are open. Up here in Minnesota, I dream of driving somewhere to golf. Any ideas?

To do that you would have to get golf course managers to use this thing called "The Internet" and tell you when they open.

Good idea though, maybe some way users could contribute that data...

I just thought of this.
Can OOB create a interactive map with golf courses that OOBers are recording their scores.
This should be a fairly accurate way of knowing which courses are open and which are not.

interesting idea.

so it would be something where we show maybe courses with scores within last x days?

that's exactly what I was thinking.
seeing the snow fall again today in Minneapolis, rrrr I just want to hit that little white ball around! To find the closest open golf course would be great.

I am also in minnesota! I am mad we got that last bit of snow fri night - 3 inches here.

The interactive map where it tells you what courses have had scores posted in the last week would be AWESOME!

I love this site and it keeps getting better
