Kudos to Marc for completing the Key West Marathon, not a small accomplishment by any measure!!!

Pick an easy course for the holidays my game is all jacked up now. Cannot figure out the distance on the irons now.

 

Nice round by Marc today steady despite bad feet, and just a few rounds under his belt the last few months!

Played a round in Dubai yesterday...got 14 holes in before it got dark..posted the front 9...It;s where the Dunai Dessert Classic is played each year...quite an experience

 

Training and running Marathons are taking up my Sundays...and work has been busy..Played yesterday..course I never played before..real nice, except my short game was no where to be found...

 

No rounds posted as of late, you must be working way too hard! Try to get out and have some fun!
P.S. get that handicap lower, I need lots 'of shots!

 

We'll be starting home tomorrow from NC, should get home sometime on Monday!

 

83 with 30 MPH wind. Great score must be hitting them well.

Side Note:
The Linkswizard reached 35 minutes on the treadmill today! Not certain, but this appears to bode well for the future of the Linkswizards golf game!

 

The truth be told the Wizard gets the right amount of strokes from his opponents, they seem to think he is better than he is! All they have to do is "Play Better!

 

I agree,the WIZARD is very good with math and the pencil.I think we need to shave some strokes,22 are way to much!!!!!!

 

Yes...but then I self destruct...right before your eyes...one day I'll hopefully stop doing that

 

The Casual observer would note that Marc seems to play as good as needed. Needs a 220 drive gets a 220 drive, needs to make a long putt, makes a long putt! Hmmm, and there are no Iguanas' in GA to distract him!

 

Normant says that if you can get the Linkswizard to take less strokes, "You The Man"! Ain't onna happen handicap is now 34!

 

Played the Manor in Alpharetta..Nice course..130 slope, lots of bunkers and very difficult greens...managed a 97...

 

good round today...30 putts..saved me today...

 

Enjoy the round is Charleston...Can you come down in March and get strokes from the Wizard?...

putting went south along with chipping accuracy...hope to get it back next round...back to work though so not as much time to play...

 

Wasn't that bad, a few miscues can be very costly! If it was easy anybody could do it!!!

 

Melt down in the Keys...a freaking "100" ....couldn't recover long enough mentally to fix it...frustrating game for sure..

 

Marcga appears to rounding up some outside help in trying to defeat the Wizard! Not gonna happen, the Wizard always, always plays just good enough to Win!!!!

Marc opened with 91 today, playing nicely, however, the Linkswizard managed to win the match on th 18th
hole. Giving the Wizard 14 strokes was not enough however, more storkes will be needed tomorrow!

 

According to Hoyle, you must give the Linkswizard 14 strokes! However, that does not appear to be nearly enough from such an accomplished golfer such as your self! A stroke hole 2 on the par 5's should be just about right!!!!!

 

I spoke to the pro over at the Key West Golf Club and he remembered you. He said and I quote, " Oh Yeah, the cigar guy who sandbags all the time hes' got to give the Linkswizard a shot a hole 2 on the par 5's, Easy!

 

just looking at the Key West score card on line...par 70...118 slope from gold and 124 from whites...wont be able to give too many stroke to the linkwizard..already lost 2 on the par rating..

 

Wish I could keep it going...shot 94 today. Good putting day so that seems consitent..trouble with accuracy on the woods and irons and didnt get the driver distance today...Key West in my sights...6 days away...looking forward to playing with the Iguna's

Wow! Great golfing, 2 over on the front, Kudos!!! Nice score for the 18 holes, too! Looks like the Linkswizard will be getting a stroke a hole 2 on the par 5's in Key West!!!

 

Don't ask me showed up today,because I shot a 38 on the front 9....however, I showed up on the back with a 46. Only 14 putts on the front....the key besides strong putting was I had 5 drives over 190 and 2 over 210.....which is long for my game.......probably some luck too....

yup...the changes are not that significant but still going to take time to get use to..only had 3 - 3 putts today..better than 7..however the long irons and woods play gave me some trouble

 

Playing different courses each time out is difficult enough! Trying to change you game during it is almost impossible! Try playing the same course 3 or 4 times to measue how the changes are effecting your game. Practice, Practice, Practice, it takes awhile to make changes!

 

I guess...Dave Stockton's tips are great, but different so it may take a while to adjust...

 

If you drove well, hit good irons shots, and putted great, you'd be out on tour! Scores not as bad as you think, your doing ,OK!

 

Nice day for golf here in GA..Played with Bill and Pete. Couldn't putt to save my life..Greens where in great shape but fast...Had difficulty with speed. reads where ok, just too fast. 7 - 3 putts...bummer

 

Cherokee Run is a tough course..nice, but difficult. 133 slop rating from the Green Tees. Also all up hill so add yardage..To top it off it was cart path only....Lots of walking...
