I think I have done pretty well to hang on to my handicap improvements this year considering that I was sidelined for almost 4 months this year with a back injury. I'm healthy again and I'm gonna stay that way.

Hope you're having fun beach bum. In regards to your comment about the back tees, it definetly helps your handicap. I'm a 3.8 now but if I played from the forward tees it would be over an 8. My length allows me to hit mid to short irons into Par 4s and Par 5s are not long Par 4s from back there.

Played some stupid golf today. Took simple misses on a couple of holes and turned them into huge mistakes....by not paying attention.

3-1/2 months will go by fast! My brother is my partner this year so I hope he gets his game in shape. Just remember... Captains Choice is about hitting shots. Practice the low percentage shots that you wouldn't normally try... it will help you on your CC game and put you in that mindset. Give me a holler if you need a practice partner.

The next 3-1/2 months are going to be dedicated to practice. Santee golf trip is in Nov and I need to be in the low 80's consistently. Breaking 70 here and there wouldn't hurt either.

The Walker Course was in very good shape. Other than it being a very windy day, I had no complaints. The water level is way down, so it takes away from the beauty of the finishing holes. Overall I was very pleased with the course.

Got back from Ohio with a visit to my brothers. I left my clubs at home and the weather turned from bitterly cold to 68 degrees....go figure!

It did start snowing on New Years eve though in Cinncinatti as we were leaving.
