I was happy to see you were able to preserve your scoring records. For some reason the site has started to cooperate this morning. At this rate, oobgolf may keep on rolling for another 6 months.
bkuehn1952 says:
What can I say, you inspired me. Until there is snow on the ground I any going to keep taking divots.
bkuehn1952 says:
April is not a time for scoring but that is not to say one can't get lucky on a course the was essentially made for my game. You might notice that not a single par 4 exeeds 390 yards and there are five par-5 holes for extra birdie opportunities.
bkuehn1952 says:
Yes, we have Bermuda grass here at the 5-star Turnberry Resort. However, every square inch of it is GREEN & LUSH. It was easy getting used to having clubs scrubbed after each shot, balls removed from the hole & cleaned, yardages instantly provided. Our caddy was everywhere and even gave a few pointers to our group (Class A PGA pro).

Ahhh, the life of an expense account shark sure is tough. Time for a massage.

How was the jaunt down to the outer banks?
mustang6560 says:
I am glad to see you're checking in on my game.
CeeBee says:
We will be on the course next week.
CeeBee says:
You Yankees just got clobbered up there. Show us a pic.
jfurr says:
swapped the sunglasses for a nice warm cap, I see
bkuehn1952 says:
A Christmas and/or winter themed avatar. Nice!
bkuehn1952 says:
Okay, you have me worried. No word on the B-Open yet (6:17pm EDT). Does that mean it was a disaster and you have withdrawn into a shell or you are so busy celebrating that you have no time for posting the results? I will hope for the latter, or at least a broken down bus delayed your return home.
CeeBee says:
Awaiting the next write up on whatever you deem worthy of commenting on. I gotta get up there and play the now famous Dyker Beach.
bkuehn1952 says:
I must admit that your writing after a round in the ghetto has a nice edge to it. I have even gone back to your old scores to read some of the comments about your playing companions when I need an acerbic "fix".
bkuehn1952 says:
First, your blog features some of the best original writing I have had the opportunity to read recently. I hope your creative well does not run dry. Pace yourself.

As to my last tournament, our "A" flight has players with handicap indices from 3.0 to 8.8 Prizes go to the best "net" scorers as well as gross skins. If I am lucky, one of the other 25 sandbaggers did not birdie #3 and I might get $20-$40 out of that. If I place in the top 5 "net" A Flight scores, you get a gift certificate for $100 down to $20. Chump change. My guess is one or two guys are going to push me down to 2nd or 3rd place but I like the competition. Since the stakes are so low and mostly the same 120 guys participate, we rarely get any obvious sandbaggers.
jfurr says:
I'm enjoying your blog. Keep 'em coming!
CeeBee says:
Don't get excited beef I am consolidating some front back scores played the same day. I like the Cialis thing but trying to keep track of league play rounds.
bkuehn1952 says:
Hey, get out and play more! I need my daily fix of your acerbic and witty observations of life on a NYC golf course.

As I was playing with Craig I thought it would have been nice to have you provide me with some "talking points" since you have daily experience handling jerkoffs like him.
CeeBee says:
I would say the new driver is performing adequately.
CeeBee says:
Yeah I'm OK. Still out. Hit some range balls the other day and it went well but the next couple days were tough on the back. Not sure when I can get out there. Good to see you playin well.
CeeBee says:
I see you are playing well.
asong77 says:
91?? What happened man? And yeah, we both got beat by heeju122, who just happens to be my gf...ahhh! We played with an old couple who were complete beginners...they needed like 7-8 swings to just get NEAR the green...it was brutal.
CeeBee says:
I think I'm back!!!
CeeBee says:
Breaking par is on the way. Go get it.
CeeBee says:
no, these are some cards i found from some years ago before oob.
asong77 says:
Were you asking about Marine Park #1 or Bethpage Red #1? Red #1 is definitely scary but not as scary as your old avatar, lol. Finally, you changed it...
jfurr says:
that pup is legit!
CeeBee says:
The new pic is pretty cool.
CeeBee says:
Oops, I commented on MY game page. I'm not going to re-type it here.
CeeBee says:
Beef, since the new site updates my site is a mess. Cant post in forum or contact anyone about it.
asong77 says:
Bleh, not a very good day of ballstriking...but the new swing is definitely getting better...
asong77 says:
Recently aerated and bumpy greens, combined with piss-poor driving...lost to the gf again!! Embarrassing, but making a swing change but getting used to it now...will play well tomorrow...
CeeBee says:
Looks like the Beef's hdcp is going to drop a little lower. That game is starting to heat up.
jfurr says:
Thanks for the encouragement, bud!
CeeBee says:
Oh yeah. that 76 is lookin pretty good.
gpickin says:
Thanks for asking. I went to New Zealand for a month, and then came back to a boatload of work, and then my newborn came early, some complications there, and still loads of work. Finally hit some balls 2 weeks back. Been waiting for my clubs to be extended and re-gripped, and then I'm back to it.
Plus might be getting some free golf for fixing up some golf course websites, so i'll be back with a vengence.

Just cant buy a minute right now.
Hope you are doing well.
