That 68 really blew my dress up, til I looked at the course's par rating. Still pretty good making 4 birdies. I played a course like that in New Orleans a few weeks ago. Lipped out a birdie putt and wound up with a triple also.

After flying 4 evacuation trips out of Beaumont on Thursday, was awakened at 2:30 am Friday by another family, telling me that the hurricane had turned and was heading straight for us. We went to the airport and left for San Antonio. All I took was my clubs and toothbrush. I bought clothes at the golf course at La Canterra. Then got invited to play in the Texas Telephone Association Tournament scramble by some folks at our hotel. Life is good.

 

thanks merlin! i'm at the point where not breaking 80 ges my goat. shouldn't be that way, but i want to be single digit low handicap. got some work to do.
