Yeah, I agree with you that it does seem like ball position is crucial at Friendly. There are some extremely tough holes there where the tee shot has to be placed nearly perfectly to have a shot at the green.

Even though the course is really tough for me, I'd really like to play it again; next time I'll play from white tees and hope to hit the fairways more. I love the fairways; they remind me of the bermuda grass I played on in Florida; and I hit well off that type of grass.

Hey Rick, I got your response. Do you have any more tournies this year? I enjoy following you and your game; plus I like rooting for a local guy in the Cincinnati or Ohio tournies.

I went to the Greater Cincinnati Golf Association website to check the results from the mid-am tourney. It seems that Bill Williamson is always at or near the top of every tourney. The guy must be very good (and consistent).
