Timmy, congrats on your 21 rounds this summer. I'm sure Kate would rather have you play golf than play with her.

stevesise says:
Harmon, where the hell is Brassie GC? I have to say Heritage Bluffs was one of the best courses I've ever played. Great layout, and by my score, a real bitch! Plus, it was great playing with Timmy's new best friend Jason Hughes!

bfharmon says:
Just played Balckthorn in South Bend unbelievable and it cost $35. Why do we live in Chicago again. I am playing tomorrow wednesday and thursday bitches!!!

coogie says:
sorry it took me forever to post my last 2 rounds, i know that i did shot the 91 for sure cause with the help of Mr. Sise we beat Harmon and Ens! However the 96 may be a 94 at ridge with dr bob, i posted the worst in any case. OO yes thats right we did beat Harmon!! Maybe I could have another ball fly in the water hit "something" and bounce out onto the grass again.

Sweet 109 at The Champ. Good thing we gave 1 stroke per hole. Anyone up for this weekend?
7/6/09

bfharmon says:
Did you ever check out when you enter a score it gives you other people who played that course in our group and out of our group and their score for the same day. Pretty cool.

stevesise says:
I would love to play this Sunday, 7/5. Any suggestions? Who's in?
6/29/09

penright says:
Are you impressed with my 112? Harmon would have to give me 34 strokes. Anyone playing Sunday morning?
6/26/09

stevesise says:
who's up for a scheduled Friday afternoon off for some golf? We can use one of our water's edge free foursomes.
6/24/09

stevesise says:
Harmon, impressive, 3 rounds in one week. You're starting to compete with Timmy for "Most Prolific Golfer".
6/24/09

bfharmon says:
I will keep posting them because I am playing some of my best golf. What's better than beating you is having you beg for strokes instead of working on your game to beat me!!!

steinmetz6 says:
Keep putting up these impressive scores Bri. Can't wait to get 7 strokes come fall.

Just heard about this today, not a bad format.

Definition: Chicago is a golf game whose format is based on golfers beginning their rounds with negative points (compare to Quota). In Chicago, players start with a negative amount of points, based on handicaps, then add positive points during the round. The idea is to get from the negative to the positive, clearing your "hurdle" (the term used for your starting total of negative points) by as much as possible.
Negative points begin at -39 for scratch golfers. A 1-handicapper starts with -38, a 2-handicapper with -37, and so on up to a 36-handicapper who starts with -3 points.

During the round, positive points are added on this basis:

Bogeys are worth l point
Pars are worth 2 points
Birdies are worth 4 points
Eagles are worth 8 points

I like Harmon's wager, I'm in.

Got to play Dubs! It conquered me.

bfharmon says:
FYI you are going to start seeing some 89's from me!!! No more 80's I am not giving Timmy any fricking shots since he plays 3 times a week!
5/26/09

bfharmon says:
i like the final tournament idea. Each member must post 5 rounds to qualify. We then split into two teams based on handicaps and have a two day tournament (friday afternoon, saturday early monring). First day is two man best ball, second day is singles matches. Winning team gets nice dinner that night.

stevesise says:
Coogan shot a 102 and 101 his last two outings? I think he's sandbagging his handicap!
5/26/09

steinmetz6 says:
I like Steve's idea of one final outing at the end of the year. We can have a trophy made too.
5/26/09

steinmetz6 says:
I got a -14 on Nintendo golf freshman year of college. Can I enter that one?
5/26/09

stevesise says:
What about this, we just spend all summer putting in scores and developing a reasonable handicap, then, play one last outing in September and actually use our handicaps. Winner gets his money back for the round and free dinner that night.
5/26/09

stevesise says:
I think I'm going to revoke Timmy's membership for posting the Fountain Hills scores. What's next, Golden Tee scores?
5/26/09

bfharmon says:
Jack and I played minature golf can I post that score next to timmy's 9?
5/25/09

bfharmon says:
I think this is a great idea. Can we come up with a couple of different categories. Or could we keep a point system throughout the year using handicaps?
5/25/09

steinmetz6 says:
Damn right. Fountain Hills. The Augusta of Alsip.
5/21/09

stevesise says:
By the way, is Timmy really posting scores from Fountain Hills? Not sure those should count. Nine holes is for girls.
5/21/09

stevesise says:
How about a little wager for this golf season. I'm thinking, we could set a base line for everyone's handicap, just call it as of today (or as it stands after a two round minimum). Then, whoever improves the most, on a percentage basis, wins. At the end of the year, we could have a final golf outing in September or something, dinner and drinks afterwards. The winner pays nothing all day. Thoughts?

bfharmon says:
i have it at home I will bring it tomorrow to enter
5/19/09

stevesise says:
Harmon, do you have Star's scores from Sunday? I have access to his page to enter scores and I'll make sure you do too.
5/19/09

stevesise says:
I think we should put in all scores, regardless if we played together or not. That way gets you your most accurate handicap.
5/19/09

bfharmon says:
Are we putting other scores up or just the rounds we played together? Nice job organizing the first round of the year Sise.
5/18/09

stevesise says:
I sent you all a friend request. Please accept, then check the box to allow each other to enter scores for each other. That way we don't have to pass around the scorecard.
5/17/09

stevesise says:
I can't wait for coogan to put up his first 75 of the year, despite losing 15 balls over the whole round!!!!
5/15/09

bfharmon says:
Rate reduction...screw you! I am going to destroy you sunday morning you mental midget.
5/15/09

steinmetz6 says:
How is it that the guy with the most kids, golfs more than anyone else? I'm gonna have to ask for a rate reduction.
5/15/09

bfharmon says:
Donn Domico is our 8th for Sunday
5/14/09

penright says:
Nice work Sise.
5/14/09

steinmetz6 says:
Do we still need an eighth for Sunday?
5/14/09

stevesise says:
As the group leader I have the power to "revoke membership". Don't piss me off.
